New Route Editor
The route editor has been rebuilt from the ground up. You can now create routes for different activities — ski touring, hiking, cycling, and more. Routes can be structured into named sections for better organization, and a new details view lets you review and fine-tune all route information before saving.

Share Private Routes
You can now share your private routes with anyone. Generate a share link and send it to your climbing partner, ski buddy, or expedition team so they can follow along on their own device — no account required on their end.
MapLibre Migration
We have migrated our map rendering engine from Mapbox GL JS to MapLibre GL JS, the open-source community fork. This brings performance improvements, a smaller bundle size, and full independence from vendor licensing — all while keeping the seamless map experience you are used to.
New Overlays: Coverage & ATHM
Two powerful new terrain overlays are now available in the Layer Settings:
- Coverage: Visualize mobile network coverage across the terrain. Useful for identifying communication dead zones along your planned route.

- ATHM (Alpine Terrain Hazard Map): Displays alpine terrain hazard classification to support risk assessment during route planning.

Hut & Weather Station Finder
We have added integrated search and discovery for mountain huts and weather stations. Find huts along your route for overnight stays and locate nearby weather stations for real-time field conditions.

Explore Page (Coming Soon)
We are laying the groundwork for a dedicated Explore page — a place to browse public routes, popular areas, and content from the community. More details in the next update.
