This update focuses on expanding our safety data coverage and refining the map interaction experience.
Expanded Avalanche Reports
We have significantly improved the Avalanche Report functionality to keep you safer in the backcountry:
- Wider Coverage: We now support reports for Italy and Bavaria, giving you critical safety information across more of the Alps.
- Next-Day Loading Fix: We fixed an issue where the report for the following day was not loading correctly, ensuring you always have the latest forecast for your planning.
Better Ski Area Analysis
We've improved the usability of the Skiarea layer. The area overlay now automatically hides at higher zoom levels. This allows for:
- Clearer Terrain Analysis: See the underlying terrain details without obstruction when zooming in close.
- Improved Visibility: Easier navigation and inspection of specific slopes inside ski areas.
Improved Peak Labels
Peak labels now show up sooner as you zoom in and include the elevation right next to the name. Spacing between labels has also been improved to keep things readable in busy mountain areas.
